The Story of a Singer Restoration.
The owner, Henk Meijer actually did the technical side of the restoration himself with help from a friend, who was a ship's carpenter, for the wooden frame. Parts came from Bill Haverly and the late Trevor Cornelius. Piet Mozes then did the bodywork. He also created a new floorsection and an aluminium alloy petrol tank for this classic roadster. Bos & Postema in Grootegast (Groningen), The Netherlands, did the spraying. The result is a fabulous looking Roadster!
Piet Mozes Restorations in Heerenveen, The Netherlands, is widely known as a top-class Focwa car-restoration company. The company specializes in restoring the well-known makes: Volvo, MG, Triumph, Jaguar, Singer and Austin Healey. Photographs of many of these restorations are on the web.
